YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–National Assembly Chairman Khosrov Haroutiunian met last Saturday with a Georgian delegation–which arrived in Armenia to attend work of the interparliamentary commission for cooperation between Georgian and Armenian parliamen’s. The delegation is led by vice-chairman of the Georgian parliament Vakhtang Kolbaya.
Speaking of a recent tripartite meeting of Georgian–Armenian and Azeri parliament chairmen in Strasbourg–Haroutiunian stressed that this is the beginning of a long–difficult–but useful and necessary process. "This is the success of all the three nations and we are planning to consistently move forward to organizing constant meetings of leaders of the three parliamen’s. We should do our best to eliminate mistrust between Armenia and Azerbaijan," Haroutiunian emphasized.
