ECHMIADZIN (Noyan Tapan)–By a patriarchal decree issued by Catholicos Karekin II–Bishop Paren Avetikian has been appointed Manager for Administrative and Organizational Matters of the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin–yet continuing as Director of the Museum Complex of Holy Echmiadzin. By another decree–Catholicos Karekin II appointed Deacon Arshak Khachatrian Chief of the Secretariat of the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin.
According to the Press Office of the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin–Archimandrite Gurgen Aghababian was relieved of his duties as Locum Tenens of the Samtskhe-Javakheti Georgian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in connection with his studies in Germany. Deacon Babken Salbiyan was assigned to replace him.
