Who cares about news nowadays, what horizon needs to do is create soap operas live usarmenia and artn shant, killing, mayhem, pillaging, robbing, stabbing, kidnapping, raping, disrespecting women, that’s what the armenian public demands. What news akpar!
Horizon, look at what USArmenia is doing. They’re on Time Warner cable and on free to air satellite and antenna. But most importantly, they have embraced the future and have their live broadcast on the internet which is available to everyone regardless of where they live and what equipment they have or what service they subscribe to.
Times have changed since the “Armenian Teletime” era. Traditional TV is slowly dying anyway. With so many Hispanic and Korean channels, there should be more Armenian channels serving Southern California. Please see this matter as a door closing and another one opening.
I watch horizon tv on channel 385on charter communication
Plz keep the horizon channel on
its not right to close armenian HORIZON CHANNEL THink before your doing something like this

Do not yank Horizon Armenian television off its charter lineup. If you do I will consider canceling my account.
Hasmik,
If we are to make a difference and enforce our will upon others, then it behooves on every single person subscribed to charter to cancel their subscription.
I say vote with your pocket.

From the moment that I learned that Charter Communication is going to turn off the most prestigious Armenian Language TV on this side of the world HORIZON, I told myself in this season of Elections; it couldn’t be nothing but another politically motivated shameful Racial Discrimination against Armenians and their candidates, and since then I couldn’t find any other logical answer to explain it to myself.
Because those who are involved in the politics of Glendale witnessed how efficiently our Armenian candidates are utilizing this amazing media to communicate live with their grassroots voters in their native language.
Now how can they fight against it?
Just Cut The Wire.
Why doesn’t the Armenian Community threaten to support, or at the very least not inhibit, the pirating of cable in the San Fernando Valley? We have many ready, willing, enthusiastic, and able compatriots who would be happy to enhance their endeavors.
funny comment, would you even believe that the pirate who actually makes those boxes has a business here on hollywood blvd. But then again neither the fbi or fcc cared to investigate it. guess, it wasn’t worth their 15 minute of fame.
Charter is being VERY unfair in its decision. It hurts and deprives its Armenian customers from attending culturally meaningful programs. Charter should keep its promise and its legally binding agreement with Horizon. Otherwise, it can be viewed as an unreliable and irresponsible company. .
There are better sources for news than horizon…
Needless to say; those who are against Horizontal TV obviously they are remnant of communism.
I’m a long time supporter of Horizon Armenian TV, but I should say I am deeply disappointed by its content, especially its recent content changes…has anyone paid attention to the low quality Russian programs that the channel has been airing? Whose idea is it? Is this worthy of one of the oldest Armenian channels in the U.S….Horizon needs to stay on the air, dump its programming, revamp its content and get back on its feet. We dont need cheap Russian programs, soap operas, and other non-sense flooding the channel.
